1.1 2024 NEW YORK STATE EMS MEMORIAL
The New York State EMS Memorial will be honoring the following members from the FDNY Bureau of EMS.
Due to Line of Duty Death (LODD):
- EMT Frederick D. Whiteside – PSAC II
Due to 9/11 Related Illness: - Paramedic Peter L. Bushey – Station 40
- Paramedic Paul Daniels – Station 16
- Paramedic Andrew J. Enderes – Station 27
- EMT Patricia Scaduto – EMS Operations
- EMT Hilda L. Vannata – Station 14
The service is scheduled for Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 1100 hours at the Empire State Plaza, 100 S. Mall Arterial, Albany, NY. All off-duty members of the Department are welcome to attend in honor of the sacrifice of our fallen brothers and sisters and the support of their families. No RSVPS or preregistration is required. Please see the attached flyer and links below for further information. Official Department vehicles may park in the plaza using the State Street driveway entrance, plaza security will be onsite to provide access. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be relocated to the auditorium.
