EMS FDNY Help Fund

2019 EMS Order No. 38

The EMS FDNY Help Fund is a not-for-profit organization established in 2017 by the Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics of the FDNY and is managed by its members on a voluntary, unpaid basis.
The Mission of the EMS FDNY Help Fund is to ensure the security of our Emergency Medical Technicians & Paramedics and their families in the event of death, injury, illness or hardship.

Since its establishment, the EMS FDNY Help Fund has offered financial assistance to members of the FDNY Bureau of EMS coping with significant hardships. The EMS FDNY Help Fund needs your help so we can continue our mission to support our brothers and sisters in need. We are asking each member to consider participating in a voluntary Automatic Payroll deduction where $2 will be automatically taken out of each paycheck. To enroll in the Automatic Payroll deduction, members are to log into the Employee Self Service (ESS), located in the Workplace Related section of the FDNY Homepage. After logging in, navigate to Payroll and Compensation, Enrolment Changes for Affiliated Organizations, and then click on the EMS FDNY Help Fund for $2 a paycheck.

If every member donates $2 a paycheck, we can ensure that help will always be available to our members and their families when needed.
