On Monday, October 4, FDNY Fire Inspectors seized 81 flammable propane gas tanks from an outdoor warehouse/parking area located at 3735 Vernon Boulevard in Queens.
The gas tanks were stored in vans and box trucks outside the location without a permit and were improperly stored in close proximity to the pedestrian sidewalk, creating grave risk of danger to the public. FDNY Fire Marshals have arrested Islam Adel Moustafa, 39, and charged him with Reckless Endangerment. In addition to being arrested, Mr. Moustafa was issued multiple C summons and Violation Orders by FDNY Fire Inspectors.
