FDNY Working to Eliminate Explosive Junkyard Dangers

After a massive fire at a Bronx junkyard killed one employee and injured another, the FDNY created Bureau of Fire Prevention, charged partly with inspecting salvage yards to find hidden dangers that could cost lives, like storing fuels and pieces like air bag inflators that act as small explosives. NBC New York’s Marc Santia reports.
