Please take a moment to help one of our own. Stephanie has been a Paramedic with the FDNY since 2006. Recently she went for a CT scan to deal with the long term effects of covid that she contracted on the job. The scan revealed she had a large tumor on her left kidney. After further testing the tumor was diagnosed to be cancer and was too large for chemo and other treatments to be effective. The kidney had to be removed.
Stephanie has run out of sick time and A/L and is currently no longer on payroll. Currently she has no income or health benefits. She is a single mother of five children, one of which relies on daily medication. Please donate whatever you can, every little bit helps. Thank you.
