In total, since our first skin cancer screening on September 30, 2023, we have screened a total of 1329 firefighters and EMS Personnel and found 352 potential or suspected cancers. That translates to 26.5% of firefighters and EMS Personnel who have been screened possibly having either a suspected or potential form of skin cancer.
We plan on having our next screening back at the fire academy, in late February. Thank you for your continued support and assistance with these events. We are making a difference.
